Jessica Overton was born and raised in Mechanicsville, VA. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies/ Elementary Education from Norfolk State University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University- Portland. She currently serves as an Elementary Math Specialist in Norfolk, VA, providing support and coaching to both teachers and students. A current resident of Hampton, VA Jessica has been bowling since she was 6 years old and is an aspiring Bronze – Level coach. She sees the value of using bowling as a means for social and emotional support and will advocate for those struggling with their mental health in any way she can.
