Becca Glazier

Born and raised in Newport News, VA I started bowling at the age of 3 and drilling bowling balls at the age of 15. Bowling was something that my family always did together, from my grandparents down to the youngest generation. Bowling has always been a consistent part of my life. I completed my undergraduate degree on a scholarship for bowling at Hampton University.I am currently a part owner of X-Treme Performance Pro Shop and on staff with Storm Bowling as well as JoPo Grips. Present day, my full time career is leading a wonderful team at Riverside Health System. I have two young sons who take up the majority of my time. I’m working on completing my Master’s in Healthcare Administration, expected graduation date of January 2025.

I'm here to listen.

Being a part of the team here at Strike Against Suicide, Spare a Life is an honor to me. While I have never been military, I have lost a loved one to suicide after being in the military. In March of 2019, I received a phone call I never expected. My cousin had unalived himself. Years prior, he had told me about his other attempts. One was while he was serving in the Navy. He was going to counseling, been prescribed different medications, and still struggled to find his purpose. While I may not know the magnitude of what our military personnel see in their day to day, I’m here to listen. I’m here to provide support in hopes of preventing someone else from receiving that dreaded phone call.
